The National Honor Society had a fundraiser on
Friday, September 18th in conjunction with International
Talk Like a Pirate Day. They sold a pirate kit (eye patch, clip on
earring and phrase book).

The Junior Council had an ice cream social in
the courtyard after school on Friday, September 25th that
was attended by students, teachers and administrators.

On Tuesday, September 29th all the
clubs were represented at the Co-Curricular Fair during the Back to
School Night.

On Wednesday, September 30th the
Peer Transition leaders met in the classrooms with the Freshmen for
one hour and successfully led them in discussions and ice-breaker
activities.

The Dance Team has been working hard in
conjunction with the Band, Color Guard, and Cheerleaders to produce
an excellent halftime show during the football games.

The Student Council is collecting loose change
for their Wounded Warriors Fund.

Auditions were held and the cast and crew were
selected for The Butler Did It.

SEARCH club members have volunteered to help
with watering the grounds on campus to maintain the summer
landscaping projects.

Student members of the Renaissance Committee
are working together with the members of the FBLA to increase sales
in the school store.
- POLARIS - yearbook staff members met weekly to plan the layout
and design of the 2010 yearbook and to recruit and begin training
new staff mamebers.
