Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
My name is Roberta Vega and I will be the yearbook advisor for the 2009 / 2010
school year. This is your special year and the yearbook staff wants to do
everything it can to capture events and activities that will become wonderful
memories for many years to come. Please read through the information
below carefully.
If you have any photos that you would like to be considered
for the various yearbook candids sections, please bring them to my classroom or send them to us at the
address listed at the end of this page.
We can’t be everywhere and would
love to get some of your favorites.
(IMPORTANT NOTE: While we promise to make every effort
to treat your photos with respect and care, we cannot be responsible for
accidental damage or loss; therefore, PLEASE do not send valuable or
irreplaceable photos; only send high quality copies.)
Deadlines are important! To avoid disappointment,
please respond by the
dates noted to ensure that you will be represented in the book in the way
that you desire*. We
really appreciate your cooperation in helping us to create this history of
the 2009-2010 academic year at High School North.
Jostens has set up its
site for the current year so that you can
customize and
purchase your yearbook online just by clicking the icon below.
You will need to
have your account number ready. Watch your mailbox for a mailing from
Jostens. Your account number can be found above your name and address
on the order form you receive in the mail. You may also request your
account number online. (Please call 1-866-282-1516
if you do not have your account number.) If you prefer to purchase your yearbook by phone
–

free 1-866-282-1516. To purchase your
yearbook by mail – watch your mailbox for a mailing from Jostens,
fill out the form and send it with your check or credit card information to the
address on the form.
If you choose to
wait until the delivery of the yearbooks in June you may still be able to
purchase a book on a first-come, first-serve basis, but you will miss out on
the early bird discount price and you will not be able to personalize your
yearbook.
If
you miss the on-line ordering deadline...

must wait until the books arrive in June. At that time you may
be able to purchase any books left over.

*In order to produce a yearbook designed to be enjoyed by all
those represented within, the HS North Administration, the HS North yearbook
editorial staff and Josten's Publishers reserve the right to edit or exclude
inappropriate subject matter without prior contact with the submitter of
that subject matter.

NOTE: New this year:
Senior Tribute ads will now be called “Recognition Ads.” All Recognition Ads
must be ordered using Jostens AdService. Simply follow the instructions in the
brochures that were mailed to your home address, as they explain how to choose your size and layout, enter the
desired text (if any) and upload or mail your photos. To lock-in your ad space
to be sure that it will appear in the 2010 yearbook, PLEASE be sure to submit
your ad materials before the closing date of January 11, 2010. If you did
not receive your brochure, or if it has been mis-placed, you may place
your order on-line at
JostensAdService.com.

We have mailed information
and order forms home to make sure that every interested student,
parent or guardian receives the information and so that all students have equal
opportunity to be represented in this fun history of the 2009-2010 academic year
