INTRODUCTION:  Welcome to the Lenni Lenape Webquest.  During this project you will learn many different things about the Lenape way of life and create a Power Point Slide to present.

TASK: This class is going into a time machine. We will travel back to the 1600s and land in the middle of a Lenape village.  You will be taken to the sakima, the wisest person in the village, and told that in order to go back to 2008 you will need to prove that you can appreciate the Lenape culture and way of life. You will take the information you have gathered and create a Power Point slide to present to the class.

PROCESS: You will be put into groups and each group will be assigned an aspect of the Lenape way of life to research.  The groups will be as follows:

Each group’s task page will outline what they need to do in order to become experts in their area of the Lenape life.  After each group presents the sakima will decide if they are ready to return to 2008.

After each group presents they will return to their present day classroom in 2008.
