Fairview School offers a student-centered academic environment that is conducive to learning.  We understand the importance of creating a positive educational climate, and recognize the diversity present in today’s schools.  Students are viewed as individuals with unique strengths and weaknesses.  Lessons and activities that are implemented are developed with those needs in mind.  Creating a life-long love of learning is a goal that is shared by the entire staff.

The faculty at Fairview holds high expectations both academically and behaviorally for our students.  We set the bar high so that children reach their full potential and develop a work ethic that will help them succeed throughout life.  The Pro Program (People Respecting Others) was developed to reward children for positive, respectful behavior.  Children are awarded vouchers and can cash them in weekly in the main office.  Bullying is not acceptable at Fairview and our climate is friendly and positive.

Safety is also a top priority at Fairview.  True learning takes place when children feel safe and comfortable.  The staff at Fairview goes above and beyond to ensure that this type of environment exists.

We are also fortunate to have an extremely supportive Parent Teacher Organization.  This group plans many activities and fundraisers that help to enrich our students’ academic experiences.  We are also blessed with supportive parents and an involved community. 

As we embark on another school year we will continue to provide an academic environment that challenges and nurtures our students.
