ON YOUR MARK…GET SET…READ!          

RIF BEGINS OCTOBER 1st          

          Start keeping track of all the books you read on one of this year's record sheets.

            Please keep in mind the following rules, which have not changed:

·        Every sheet should include your name, teacher and grade.

·        Every completed form MUST be signed by either a parent or teacher before being handed in to the school library.

·        One line = one book, no matter how long or short. Please DO NOT list individual chapters that you've read. Wait until you've

     completed the book before adding it to the list.

·        Whenever a completed RIF sheet is brought to the Fairview library, you may choose a prize from the RIF prize box. You can

     hand in as many completed RIF sheets as you want. There is no limit!

·        Once you have completed a sheet of 20 books, you are a RIF member. You will be congratulated in the newsletter and on

     the RIF bulletin board.

·        Classes that have 100% participation will be rewarded with a pizza party in June.

·        The top 2 readers in each class will receive Barnes and Noble gift cards at the awards ceremony in June.
