The Superintendent of Schools recommends approval of a telecommunications services
contract with Cooperative Communications Inc. The two-year term contract will commence approximately November 10, 2005 (depending upon the completion of the cut over process
for each building.) Cooperative Communications will provide Local service to the district at
a cost of $0.0132 per minute (five minute or less increments, message unit) and Long Distance:
Intrastate and Interstate and Intralata at a cost of $0.029 per minute (currently at $0.036, $0.036
and $0.046 per minute respectively.)
