SPECIAL NOTICE OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION

JANUARY 31, 2006

At its Jan. 31 meeting, the Board of Education acted to suspend the Superintendent of Schools.

While the details of that action are a matter of personnel which can not at this time be shared with the public, the Board is aware of the public's concern that the District continue to operate in the absence of the Superintendent. 

The Board, Administration and staff will take all necessary steps to ensure that the Central Administration in particular, and the District in general, remain fully operating and responsive to the needs of our pupils and the public.
