We have
experienced another successful school opening
this year! Students enrolled in our school
total 274 with class sizes that range from 16 to
21. Many events will occur during this school
year. They include a Welcome Luncheon for the
new students, a Welcome Reception for our
Kindergarten and new parents, fundraising for
our school programs, field trips to Poricy
Park, Leonardo Beach, evacuation and lockdown
drills, a Safety Assembly Program and D.A.R.E.
to name a few.
As always, we
will conitnue with many activities throughout
the year. Please refer to your monthly
calendars that will be sent home a few days
before the beginning of each month.
Bus evacuation
drills will also take place at the end of
October. Our Halloween Parade is always
scheduled for October 31st at 1:30PM. More
information will be disseminated for this event
and other special occasions throughout the
year.
November
Conference information will be sent home at the
end of October. It is important that you return
your requests ASAP so the teachers may begin the
scheduling process.
I encourage
all of you to become active participants in your
child's education. If you have any time for a
specific activity, please don't hesitate to sign
up. As always, we are appreciative of any time
or talent you can provide for the students.
