RON BROWN SCHOLAR PROGRAM - This program awards scholarships to academically talented, highly motivated African-American students who are seniors in high school and plan to pursue undergraduate degrees full-time. Students must be US citizens or hold permanent resident visa cards.
There are two application deadlines: November 1st to be considered for the Ron Brown Scholar Program and a select and limited number of additional scholarships; January 9th to be considered for the Ron Brown Scholar Program only. See your counselor for details, or visit www.ronbrown.org

SAE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - Applicant must be a high school senior at the date of application (Sept. 1-Dec. 1); intend to earn a degree in engineering or a related science (refer to individual scholarship descriptions. Examples of related science include math, chemistry, physics, biology, technologies, computer science); be a citizen of the United States at the time of application (Permanent Resident not applicable); meet minimum requirements with regard to grade point average, SAT and/or ACT scores as outlined in the individual requirements of each scholarship. TOYOTA COMMUNITY SCHOLARS PROGRAM Eligible student must be high school senior with a GPA of 3.0 or better, be actively involved in a service organization or project that has a positive impact on the school and/or community, be a US citizen, US national or US permanent resident, and plan to pursue an undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. See your guidance counselor to learn about the nomination process. One nominee per school.

NEW JERSEY YOUTH SOCCER SCHOLARSHIPS High school seniors are being invited to apply for the following scholarships, each of which will offer two $1000 awards:
Paul Hausser Scholarship applicant intends to go to college and pursue a career in education; must have played for an affiliated New Jersey Youth Soccer Club;
Jeanine Willis Scholarship - applicant intends to go to college or an accredited technical school; must have played for an affiliated New Jersey Youth Soccer Club.

AMERICAN DREAM SCHOLARSHIPS/TDBANK Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, residing in a county served by Commerce Bank; plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school in the US; have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent; demonstrate involvement in community service, volunteerism, school activities and/or employment responsibilities. NEW JERSEY SOCIETY OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS Open to all New Jersey college-bound high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in accounting. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic standing, standardized test scores, an essay and performance at a personal interview. Five-year awards range in value of up to $8,500. GATES MILLENNIUM SCHOLARS PROGRAM Nominees must be African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American; must be citizen/legal permanent resident or national of the US; must have cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0, or a GED; must have demonstrated leadership abilities; must meet Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria. 2009 NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP Available to high school seniors, graduates or GED earners of any age who either have MS or have a parent who has MS, and who want to enroll for the first time in a college or a vocational/technical school.
