Plans for the week of April 16-20, 2007

This week we will accomplish most of the work towards writing our Embedded Research Short Story Project. You will enjoy this project IF you use the time management skills we learned during our Raising Awareness unit by keeping up with each component of the project, and by utilizing every minute that we have in the Computer Lab.

Monday –April 16, 2007

Review Plans for the Week. Empty out folders to start our short story research project. Listen to the audio version and read along in the text “the Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” James Thurber’s satire about the rich fantasy life of an unhappy husband. Discuss this common theme in American fiction. Discuss the assignment and schedule for your short story research project.
