This week we will continue to read the play Inherit the Wind, by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee. We will read about and discuss the language of time, and recent changes in that jargon.

Picture Day! Periods 1 and 3. Period 11: continue to read Inherit the Wind.

Tuesday – September 26, 2006- VIEWPOINT meeting
Go over the plans for the week. Fill in the first page on Book/Exam notes. Listen to a presentation from the Guidance Department about taking the PSAT.
Homework: Discuss the PSAT with your parents.

Analyze Mathew Harrison Brady according to the 4 Methods of characterization, and take notes. Continue to read aloud the play Inherit the Wind.
Homework: This week is your parents’ twelfth and penultimate Back-to School Night. Write a letter or note of appreciation to them, put it in an envelope, and hand in for homework credit (even if you think they won’t be able to come.)
