1. Select a plain (undecorated), small empty tin or box.
(If the box has writing on it you could cut paper to fit each side and glue the paper neatly to the sides of the box to cover any writing or advertising images)2. Measure the top of your tin or box carefully and write down the measurements.
(If you are creating a gift box you may wish to measure the sides as well.)3. Select one of the best of all of the images you have created since the beginning of the year
4. Open the image in Adobe PhotoShop, go to "Image" and then to "Image Size"
5. In the "Document Size" section, set the image resolution to "300" d.p.i and then choose setting for the width and height that would allow your image to fit perfectly on the cover of your gift box or tin. (If you wish to put photos on the sides of your gift box as well as the top, open those photos and adjust the sizes so that they will fit.)
6. Print out one copy of your photo.
7. Put a piece of clear protective plastic over your photo and cut the photo and plastic out together. Glue them to the top of your tin or box.
8. To make your gift box or tin look very festive you may wish to also add sequins, buttons, glitter, etc. You may also wish to add some felt or other fabric as a "liner" inside your gift box.
