Welcome Back to Ocean Avenue School!

I would like to take a minute of your time to introduce myself. My name is Cynthia C. Wilson and I have been appointed principal of your elementary school. I am a life-long resident of Middletown and I reside in Leonardo with my husband and three sons. I bring twenty-seven years of experience to this position and a love of children and learning! I am so excited to be a part of Ocean Avenue School and look forward to a very productive and wonderful school year!

I believe that Ocean Avenue School has all of the necessary components needed for becoming the best elementary school in Middletown. However, this goal cannot be achieved alone.  We need to work together; parents, children, staff, teachers, community members, administration and the board of education.  Together we can develop a vision for Ocean Avenue School where all members are respected as individuals and actively participate in order to create a community of learners for all.  Looking forward to a great year.
