The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a national organization dedicated to helping students gain insight into career choices, develop business skills, learn the value of community service and become well-rounded business leaders of tomorrow. It is Middletown South's largest student organization. Students develop organization and communication skills in planning chapter activities. They learn to network with students from throughout the state by attending Regional and State Conference in each of the last three years.

The Criminal and Business Law class has been the foundation for Middletown South’s Forensics Club. The Forensics Club is comprised of the Mock Trial Team and Model United Nations Delegates. Mock Trial simulates the courtroom experience. Students play the roles of lawyers and witnesses for prosecution and defense. The Model United Nations experience gives high school students the opportunity to debate and engine in international issues considered by the United Nations. The delegation will be assigned to represent a country on international committees that will lead to participation in a fall and spring Model United Nations Conference hosted by a college or university.

The School Store, part of the Business Department, is run entirely by the Cooperative Education class. South's student body can purchase basic school supplies and snacks before school and at certain times of the day.
