Highlights:
Annual Electronic/Communications/Computer Science Challenge - This
competition, which is sponsored by the Fort Monmouth Chapter of the
Armed Forces Communication Electronics Association, is held each year
in May at Brookdale Community College. Our students have an opportunity
to showcase their independent year-long projects in computer science.
New Jersey Institute of
Technology High School Programming Contest -
South entered a team in this competition in 2004, coming in second
place out of 36 schools.
Computer Science Final Projects
First year and Advanced Placement Computer Science students work on a
final project during part of the fourth marking period. They write a
program for a teacher from another discipline, providing them with a
piece of instructional software that they may use with their classes.
