WELCOME TO MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL SOUTH TV STUDIO

TV PRODUCTION  at Middletown HS South

The Television Production Curriculum is designed to expose students to the totality of television. It will answer questions such as: “How can I best explain my concept to my audience?”, “Who is my target audience?”, “How can I be more persuasive?”, “What visuals can I use to grab the attention of my audience?”, “How do I make my message more memorable?”, “How can I increase the retention of this material by my audience?”, "Do I need a script?", "How do I write a script?", "How do I interpret a script to make it effective visually?", "What is my purpose for making this television program?", "How do I manipulate the equipment to turn my vision into reality?", "What do I need to produce a television program?". This curriculum stresses practical experience through the hands-on completion of projects and stresses the importance of teamwork. The instructional units outlined in this curriculum are, thus, designed to give the student answers to these questions in a realistic hands-on team environment.
