Below you will find the instructions and links to the mathematical tasks for both Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten. After each basketball is printed, completed, colored, cut-out, checked & signed by a parent, students are to return it to school in order to accumulate points for their Class/Team.
1 Point Basketballs (Option #1)
We’re shooting for precision in Fact Fluency here. The basketball templates below involve basic addition and subtraction fact practice within 5. Parents are encouraged to assist their children in finding solutions by using manipulatives (such as coins, buttons, or any small object).

The chart below contains links to one-point basketball problems that focus on pre-kindergarten and early kindergarten skills. Please Note: The problems below DO NOT need to be printed. Instead, print this TEMPLATE (click template) to show the solution. (Parents may record their child’s responses/work if necessary.

The chart below contains YouTube links to familiar Counting Songs and Videos. Choose a link to view, listen and even sing with your child. Then print this TEMPLATE (click template) for your child to DRAW a picture of something they learned.
1. Choose a MATH activity from the websites listed below
2. Choose a Math related activity to work on for 10-20 minutes
3. When your website work is done, complete a 2 point Basketball
4. Write the Title of the website & activity
5. Write and explain what happened during this Math Website visit
6. Color your basketball & return to school
