Preschool

Families with children who will be three (3) years of age by October 1st of the school year in which they would like to enroll, may be interested in the Middletown Township Public School District Preschool Program. Further information and specific details about our Preschool Program can be found under the Preschool Department.

Dear Parent/Guardian:

We are pleased that your child is exiting our preschool program and entering kindergarten. All students, including those with Individualized Education Programs, must register for kindergarten. Please begin the kindergarten registration process.

We encourage early registration. The Middletown Township Public School District is committed to limiting class sizes.  Students who register to attend their zoned school after class size limits have been met will be assigned to an alternate school within the district.  For students with Individualized Education Programs, placement will be determined by the special class program their IEP team has determined they attend; otherwise they will attend their home kindergarten unless class size limits have been met.
