Mr. Erik M. Paulson
Mr. Paulson was born and raised in Middletown. As a child he attended Nut Swamp Elementary School and Thompson Middle School in Middletown Township. He attended Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School where his mother taught mathematics for over twenty-five years. Mr. Paulson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. While teaching third grade in North Brunswick, NJ he attended Georgian Court University and earned a Master of Arts degree in Administration, Supervision, and Curriculum Development. His entire teaching and administrative careers are rooted in elementary education. Mr. Paulson joined Harmony School in January of 2011 as the principal. As a family man, Mr. Paulson believes that educating young learners is the responsibility of an entire community. He is student centered and focused on each student as an individual. His career brought him full circle back to Middletown to the place he calls home. His parents still live in Middletown and he resides in Ocean Township with his wife (Tara), three girls (Addison 11, Kadence 9, Charlotte 3), son (Ryland 6), and mixed breed dog Jack.
